Posts Tagged ‘Mitt Romney’

I was just skimming the headlines on Yahoo news and came across the little fuss with Corey Booker, Mitt Romney’s corporate raiding practises, and the Obama campaign. Old Obeyme’s comments were so very like my own in my post entitled, FYI: Mitt Romney that I could swear his campaign people copied it word for word–almost. I haven’t been following this presidential race day by day but I have not heard this issue raised yet and certainly not in my own words so I am beginning to wonder.

Now you all know my views by now and if you don’t you can skim my posts on this subject. Both Obeyme and Romney are being backed by the same group. They have created a heads I win, tails you lose scenario by cheating Romney onto the Republican primary ticket through their dishonest manipulation of the Maine Republican Caucus. In much the same way, they got Obeyme into the White House in 2008. (They have all the under 25 year olds cell phone data and simply fed in about a million or four young voters who did not actually vote. Isn’t modern technology wonderful? Now the ballot box can be stuffed from the comfort of your own laptop–if you have access to the cell phone records of google or T-Mobile.)

In view of this odd coincidence, I will not be posting anything more about the presidential race. These two political imposters are neither one worth the price of a bullet and Obeyme certainly doesn’t need to be using my ideas for his own advancement. Now that the LGBT lobby has been allowed to pick the two major (supposedly opposing) players it won’t matter who gets in.

There is serious trouble ahead for our country, folks. But—I think we will be able to handle it when it  comes.

This really needs to be said although many may think it’s too late to do anything.

Mitt Romney was NOT supported by the Maine Republican caucus. The supposed head of the Republican caucus deliberately lied, miscounted, and manipulated the results in a way that brought a public outcry of censure in most  if not all of our major newspapers. The stories ran for about a day and then the Maine news collective dropped the subject like a hot rock, which it was, to the special interest owners.

The people of this state have repeatedly made their views on the subject of same-sex issues very plain–they do not support them in any way. It is time to mount a campaign with all our local representatives to bring this issue into the public eye and keep it there. The news media in this state does not represent the majority view and we all need to call them on to the carpet for it. Vagrants who have moved into southern Maine from Massachusetts do not represent the will of Maine’s people.

Maine has a lot of quiet money here, people who are not into the obvious consumer lifestyle. Why can’t we have a paper that prints the real opinions of the majority and will run a campaign for them on the same type of continuing basis that the GLAAD consortium has mounted?

Very short post this week. Actually, just two questions.

Question number one–

What is going on in Utah? I mean, who are these people? Utah and Mormonism are synonymous to most Americans. They have built up a squeaky clean public image for themselves and someone is using this to foist a Utah born and bred closet case onto the Republican party as presidential candidate. And then there is this Sister Wives thing going on. A small herd of smiling white women have chosen the stud animal male they wish to cover them when they’re in season and gaze happily into the camera as they self approve this behaviour. Evidently it is time we all got over the Osmond Brothers mentality of the past forty years(sorry Marie) and looked a little closer at this state and what it is attempting to export to the rest of us.

Question number two–

Why is Mitt Romney being billed now as a former Governor of Massachusetts?  A short public nod to his “Mormonism” when he first stuck his head out of his closet and then the media got really quiet about his “roots”. Mitt Romney is from Utah and a Mormon. I mean, did his handlers feel that running him through a term of office in Massachusetts would wash off enough Utah to make him smell nice for a Republican presidential run? The odors coming out of Utah these days are definitely not that of sanctity.

On the other hand, Newt Gingrich has been married three times but at least–not all at once. I wonder what his views on the “Sister Wives” thing would be.

Here is an item for the consideration of genuine conservatives and also those potential voters out there who are not enamored of any of the candidates, republican or democrat.

I have seen Mr. Romney portrayed as an astute and able businessman, conversant with the business world and better able to create jobs than any of the other candidates. Mr. Romney himself is especially vocal about these “qualities” and “talents” of his.

Now I have read a few pieces about the man, especially his association with the Bain Corporation. For those of you who have no knowledge of the working lexicon of the business world I will share what little I have and now looks like a good time for it.

A genuine businessman or woman builds a business. With talent,  good ideas, good ethics and good people skills. They either do this from the ground up, as in starting a business, or they take over from a retiring family member or fellow board person. In the latter case, other members of the board elect them to their position of leadership because they have shown abilities that will help the business to grow.

Then there are the “sharks” of the business world. They keep their eyes open for businesses that are not failing, bankrupt or in otherwise bad shape but are good, viable, going concerns that may have a vulnerability somewhere in their stock management that will allow what good business people all recognize as a “hostile takeover.” That means the new owners are not interested in running the business as is but are looking to sell off any liquifiable assets, fire a good portion of the people and make an instant cash killing in a short time. These particular types of sharks are known as “Corporate Raiders.”

Now, go back and reread some of the articles concerning Mr. Romney’s talents as used by the Bain Corporation. Mr. Wannabe President Romney is the textbook definition of the Corporate Raider. Do some research, it won’t hurt you. See if you can find out how many of the businesses Bain “restructured” were going bankrupt. You can’t make a large cash killing off of a bankrupt concern, creditors have first claim to all the assets. These predators of the business world only kill off the healthy.

How would you like him for President?

“Perception is reality.” I came across this asinine statement in an article I read the other day and thought I would share it with you. It gives us a clear and focused look into the non-mind of many people passing for mature adults today. This is not so much a statement as it is wishful thinking on the part of those who feel they are in control of our media. And it is dangerous to let these self involved imbeciles feel comfortable with it. I guess they never heard the old adage about the man convinced against his will.

Perception as reality is, of course, blatantly untrue. Reality is reality. It does not depend on the individuals refusal to recognize or admit it. But the premise  does do this–it makes liberal left adherents in the media feel very comfortable about the lies they tell. What we really need right now are some newspaper and online articles  challenging the totally untrue notion that Mitt Romney, a practising closet case supposedly from Massachusetts, is the “number one choice of conservatives”  based on polls. What these degenerates do is go to their local gay bars and ask three denizens thereof who they want for president and then print the answers in bold black type as the latest political “news” from the conservative party.

Really People, these idiots mean seriously to foist a homosexual off on to us in the name of Republican Conservatism. They see the way the country is trending against them and they really feel that by posting enough lies about their pet RINO CINO in the papers and online news services that they will get their own twisted way with the majority of us.

Personally, I am going to back Mr. Gingrich. The leftist liberal element is portraying him as “stumbling”, “struggling”, yaddah yaddah yaddah. They have planted people on his campaign staff–witness the recent trouble he’s had with his scheduling. They bill him as a long-term insider in D. C. politics as if this were a bad thing. Right now, it is not. In order to deal with the threat these degenerates pose we will need someone who knows the ropes. These people are extremely aggressive, organized, and have a huge amount of PR savvy at their disposal.

Keep your eyes on how they portray Mr. Gingrich in the press. Of all the candidates in the field right now, he is the one they fear most. They will attempt to portray him as incapable of winning against Obama. Mostly, because they don’t want him to win.

Think about that.
